UniKL MIMET Strengthens Global Research Ties with Kazakhstan:
Ts. Dr. Norshakila Haris of UniKL MIMET recently completed a dynamic research mobility visit to Astana IT University, Republic of Kazakhstan, under the UniKL Global Research Mobility Program 2025.
The visit explored smart textile antennas for maritime IoT, involving simulation, lab testing, and facility visits—supporting global efforts under SDG 14: Life Below Water.
A key outcome was a new research collaboration, with Astana IT University confirming the submission of 10 papers to KLSF 2025. In support of this initiative, UniKL offered 3 complimentary passes to the conference, sponsored by CoRI.
