UniKL MIMET lies at the Manjung River estuary, which links to the Malacca Straits. As the only UniKL campus that specializes in marine technology, we offer academic and professional programmes, from certificates to PhDs that are maritime-based. In teaching and learning, online lectures, practical sessions, industrialmanship activities, entrepreneurial events and soft skill projects add to the conventional face-to-face classes. UniKL MIMET is also a premier institute in strengthening Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system through the implementation of the teaching factory concept in the university’s Teaching and Learning process. At their leisure, students may participate in their normal sporting and social activities or venture into water sports such as rowing, canoeing, sailing, fishing and beach games.
UniKL MIMET has what it takes to nurture young talents for the maritime industry. We do not just teach lessons in the marine related field. Instead, we inculcate the maritime culture to ensure their readiness for the industry.

UniKL MIMET terletak di muara sungai Manjung yang bersambung dengan Selat Melaka. Sebagai kampus yang berkepakaran dalam teknologi marin, kami menawarkan program-program akademik dan ikhtisas dari peringkat Sijil hingga Kedoktoran. Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran menggunakan kaedah bersemuka yang bersepadu diadun dengan pembelajaran atas talian, latihan amali, aktiviti industrialmanship, acara keusahawanan dan banyak lagi. UniKL MIMET juga sebagai institusi perintis dalam memperkukuh sistem Pendidikan dan Latihan Teknikal dan Vokasional (TVET) dengan pendekatan konsep teaching factory di dalam Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran di universiti. Di masa lapang, pelajar boleh turut serta dalam aktiviti-aktiviti sukan dan riadah yang mereka minati atau menceburi sukan air seperti mendayung, berkanu, pelayaran, memancing dan sukan pantai.
UniKL MIMET ada segala yang diperlukan bagi memperkasa bakat-bakat muda untuk industri maritim. Kami bukan sahaja mendidik dalam bidang berkaitan marin, malah menerapkan budaya maritim bagi memastikan bakal graduan dapat disiapsiagakan untuk menghadapi cabaran industri.
