TPM VISIT TO UNIVERSITI KUALA LUMPUR MIMET

Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW), YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi made an official visit to Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Marine Engineering Technology (UniKL MIMET), Lumut today.
During his visit, YAB Deputy Prime Minister toured the campus including the Kawasan Limbungan Kapal, Bengkel Gentian Kaca dan Wave Tank Testing Centre. He was also briefed on the current situation and growth plans of the UniKL MIMET Campus. The briefing was delivered by the President/Chief Executive Officer of Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Prof. Ir. Dr. Azman bin Senin and UniKL MIMET Dean, Ts. Dr. Zaimi Zainal Mukhtar.
YAB Deputy Prime Minister expressed deep pride in UniKL MIMET’s ability to strengthen TVET offering in maritime while contributing directly to the maritime industry and generate greater opportunities for young people.
