“AVENGER HELPING HAND- UNIKL MIMET SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY”

A Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project, entitled ‘Avenger Helping hand- Unikl MiMET Social Responsibility’s project on 11th December 2018 (Tuesday) at Kampung Baru, Lumut, Perak. The purpose of this event was to help the family of Mr Saidon Abdul Manan. The objectives were as follows:

• To clean the house and surrounding area
• To replace the broken zinc rooftop
• To give donation of basic needs

The event was a success. A total of 33 volunteered staff of Unikl MiMET, 3 volunteered from MPKK Kg Baru, and Adun Pasir Panjang, YB Encik Yahaya Mat Nor participated in the event. We managed to clean the house and surrounding area, plant 10 types of vegetables and dig proper drainage. We had also successfully replaced the entire rooftop of the house with a new one. At the end of the event, the family received donations in terms of basic goods and money.

This event received a media coverage from Sinar harian and Metro. The family was very thankful to the deeds done.
