Senior Lecturer

Ts Azman Ismail is a Senior Lecturer in the Welding and Joining Technology at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Marine Engineering Technology (UniKL MIMET). Currently, he pursued his research in Friction Stir Welding for Pipelines in terms of residual stress analysis. He won several gold awards for his excellence in research outputs and actively published journals in related to friction stir welding. He actively seeks and has managed to secure several reputable international funding opportunities in relation to his projects. He also owns a series of patents in friction stir welding.  

Ts Azman Ismail is a Senior Lecturer and an active researcher in his own field of expertise. His research interests include welding and joining technology especially in friction stir welding for pipelinesHe actively led a number of research grants from UK and Japan which enables him to receive several technical awards. He is one of the editorial members of Advanced Structured Materials of Springers and has actively served many conservation activities and committees with World Wildlife Fund of Malaysia (WWF-Malaysia).
