Ismail Zainol


Ismail Zainol is a Lecturer with the Marine Engineering Technology Section at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Marine Engineering Technology (UniKL MIMET), Malaysia. He holds a B.Eng. (Hons) degree in Mechanical Marine and a M.Eng. degree in Marine Technology,both from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia. He is a member of Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA), and Malaysia Board of Engineer (BEM). He was an engineer in shipbuilding industry before joining UniKL MIMET as academician. He has been with UniKL MIMET since 2009.He is currently programme coordinator for BME programme. He is currently a PhD candidate at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). His research interest includes ship recycling optimization, fuel saving propulsion system and fishing boats technology.
