Fatin Zawani Zainal Azaim
A lecturer in the Student Development Section. Received her Master in English as a Second Language from Universiti Teknologi MARA. Active in sports and various activities and enjoys engaging in social and productive activities.
Since graduating, she has attended various workshops and trainings related to English language teaching, publications and soft skills to improve herself professionally and personally. Her specialization is in teaching English as a second language, adult learners and counselling.
She is presently a Lecturer at UniKL MIMET lecturing English language subjects ranging from the fundamental knowledge like grammar to technical application like technical reports, presentation, and interview skills. She has conducted several preparatory classes for MUET and IELTS. In collaboration with Boustead Naval Shipyard Sdn. Bhd., she has conducted training for technicians of the Royal Navy of Oman. She was also a trainer for VALE Junior Apprentice Program in 2014.
Among her research interests are psychology in education, adult learning, academic discourse and English for Specific Purposes (ESP). Besides teaching, she is an internal auditor for the university and also an editor for 2 internal magazines. She is also an advisor for various students’ clubs where she guides them in public speaking competition, debate competition and business idea competition.
