Senior Specialist Lecturer

Mr Aziz Abdullah is a Senior Specialist Lecturer of the Marine Construction and Maintenance Technology Section at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Marine Engineering Technology (MIMET). He received a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Technology and Master in Management from International Islamic University and worked as an engineering officer in the Malaysian military as well as the Boustead Naval Shipyard prior joining MIMET in 2006. Mr Aziz has published a number of papers in journals.

Mr Aziz Abdullah is an experienced engineer of maritime background and has been lecturing in various fields that include Shipyard Management, Project Management, Shipbuilding Technology and Workshop Technology. His research interests include studies on industry competitiveness, engineering cost escalation control, optimizing of engineering practices, studies on environmental renewable energy and the SWOT and TOWS matrix analysisHe is on the editorial board of MIMET’s Marine Frontier.
