Samsol Azhar Zakaria is a Deputy Dean International, Industrial & Institutional Partnership (IIIP) at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Marine Engineering Technology (UniKL MIMET), Malaysia.
Mrs Roslin Ramli received the Diploma of Engineering Technology in Ship Design and Bachelor of Engineering Technology (HONS.) in Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding from University Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Marine Engineering Technology (UniKL MIMET) Malaysia, in 2010 and 2017 respectively, and the Master of Civil Engineering (Sustaining of Floating Structure for Houseboat Using FRP) from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). In 2010, she joined the Department Marine & Design Technology, UniKL MIMET as a Assistant Lecturer, in 2017 became a Lecturer. Programme Coordinator for Diploma of Engineering Technology in Ship Design (Jan 2016 – Jan 2020).
Nurul Asima Zainon is an established teacher and co-researcher in mechanical and marine design. Her research interests include software and innovation.
Mr. Mohd Amin Hakim is currently a Lecturer with the Marine Design Technology (MDT) Section. He received the B.Eng. (Hons) degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and MSc in Offshore Floating System from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow U.K. He has been working with Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Marine Engineering Technology (UniKL MIMET) since December 2011.
Faisal Ikram bin Abd Samad is presently a Senior Lecturer at UniKL MIMET. He had been lecturing in UniKL MIMET since 2006 in the areas of Naval Architecture and Computer Aided Ship Design (CASD) subjects. His research interests include ship hydrodynamics, ship hullform modelling, ship vibrations as well as computational fluid dynamics (CFD).

Mr Zaimi Zainal Mukhtar graduated with B.Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering in 2000. Immediately after graduation he joined TFP Precision Sdn Bhd (now known as MIKRON (M) Bhd) at Shah Alam, Selangor as a Production Engineer. After spending two years with the company, he was called by Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) to joined MARA’s special project with Government of Victoria State, Australia in producing Technical Trainer and Technology Transfer for newly developed Technical & Vocational Institute of Marine (MIMET). He was attached to that program for two years in Australia and officially joined UniKL MIMET in early 2004. He is currently a senior lecturer at the Malaysian Institute of Marine Engineering Technology, an institute under Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and holds several posts in the institute where he was a Head of Section of Marine Design Technology (2004-2008), Head of Academics Affairs Section (2009-2011), Head of Quality Assurance Section (2012-2013) and Deputy Dean (A&T) from 2013 to 2016. Mr Zaimi is also actively involved in industrial society. He was elected as a committee member for Technical Unit under Association of Marine Industry of Malaysia (AMIM) since 2012. He is a registered NOSS Expert Panel of Marine Transport for JPK under HR Ministry of Malaysia. Nowadays, he is pursuing his postgraduate doctoral degree study at Universiti Malaysia, Terengganu (UMT).
Mazlan bin Muslim is currently teaching naval architecture, offshore and subsea structures, marine power plant and auxiliary support system. His research interests include mooring design, floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel, small waterplane area twin hull (SWATH) structural analysis, fishing vessels including trawler and purse seiner resistance and propulsion aspects, tension leg platform (TLP) dynamics, subsea remote operating vehicle (ROV), etc.
