Admission Requirements:

Lulus SPM/ SPMV atau yang setara, dengan sekurang-kurangnya lulus mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggeris dan kredit dalam lima (5) mata pelajaran berikut:

  • Bahasa melayu
  • Matematik
  • Sains/ Sains tulen/Teknikal
  • Dan 2 mata pelajaran lain

ATAU

Lulus O-Level dengan sekurang-kurangnya mendapat gred C dalam mata pelajaran Matematik, satu mata pelajaran berkaitan Sains/ Teknikal/ Vokasional dan tiga (3) mata pelajaran lain serta lulus mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggeris;

ATAU

Lulus Sijil (Tahap 3 KKM) Kejuruteraan/ Teknologi Kejuruteraan yang diiktiraf atau setara dengan minimum CGPA 2.00;

ATAU

Lulus Sijil (Tahap 3 KKM) Vokasional dan Teknikal/ Kemahiran yang diiktiraf atau setara dengan minimum CGPA 2.00 dan mendapat sekurang-kurangnya kredit dalam satu mata pelajaran di peringkat SPM dan mempunyai pengalaman bekerja dalam bidang yang berkaitan selama satu tahun atau sekurang-kurangnya program bridging selama satu semester;

ATAU

  • Lulus Sijil kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Tahap 3
  • Lulus SPM/ SPMV dengan mendapat sekurang-kurangnya kredit dalam satu mata pelajaran dan lulus program pengukuhan Matematik (bagi pelajar yang gagal Matematik);
  • Menyambung pelajaran peringkat Diploma dalam bidang yang sama;
  • Sekiranya perlu, PPT harus menyediakan program bridging sebagai program pengukuhan bagi pelajar yang beralih dari sektor kemahiran kepada sektor akademik.
  • Bagi pelajar antarabangsa, skor TOEFL 500 atau skor IELTS 5.0 atau yang setara.
  • Sekiranya pelajar tidak memenuhi kriteria tersebut, PPT mesti menawarkan kursus kemahiran Bahasa Inggeris untuk memastikan profisiensi pelajar memadai untuk memenuhi keperluan keperluan program. Hal ini biasanya dilakukan melalui proses penilaian.

Upon graduation, the students of Diploma of Engineering Technology in Marine Engineering will be able to:

  • Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization principles to wide practical procedures and practices
  • Analyse well-defined engineering problems
  • Formulate solutions to well-defined technical problems
  • Assist in the formulation of systems, components or processes to meet specified needs
  • Conduct investigations on well-defined problems
  • Apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering tools to well-defined engineering activities with awareness of the limitations
  • Demonstrate an awareness of and consideration for societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with the engineering community and society at large
