The section aims to provide quality education, research and service to our constituents. The major goal is to produce engineering technologist with a strong technical background in marine electrical and electronics, who are ready to meet the challenges of the future. As we enter the era of 4th Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0), it is important for our students to be exposed with emerging technology breakthrough such as in the fields of robotics, artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, the Internet of Things (IoT), 3D printing and autonomous vehicles. Our section strives for continuous improvement in order to ensure that students remain on the cutting edge of their field.

Currently, we have 17 academic staff with expertise in diverse areas including Navigation Equipment & System, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, Electronics Communication and Automation & Control. We look forward to welcoming you to our section as prospective students and research collaborators. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information regarding our section.
